Owen Davies, member of the Everyday Lives in War team, talks here about his long-standing interest in the history of fortune-telling and his collaboration with theatre group Cap-a-Pie. Their work together produced The Important Man, a touring production based on two First World War case studies. With scenes from the production, this short film explores the rich possibilities that emerge through different forms of storytelling.
