Food in Wartime: An International Perspective on Food Supply in World War I
July 26, 2019 - July 27, 2019
In the wake of our very successful workshop last year, and on behalf of Prof Dr Margrit Schulte Beerbühl (Professor of Modern History of the University of Düsseldorf) and the AHRC-funded Everyday Lives in War Centre team, we are delighted to announce that a second, themed workshop on ‘Food in Wartime: An International Perspective on Food Supply in World War I’ will be held at the University of Düsseldorf, Germany, on 26-27 July.
The two-day programme includes talks from speakers covering the subject of food at home and at the front, from both German and British perspectives.
Places are free but limited. Pre-booking is required by contacting Prof Dr Margrit Schulte Beerbühl on email address: schulteb@phil-fak.uni-duesseldorf.de
