Veterans For Peace is a global organization of Military Veterans and allies whose collective efforts are to build a culture of peace by using our experiences and lifting our voices. They inform the public of the true causes of war and the enormous costs of wars, with an obligation to heal the wounds of wars.



Beaufort War Hospital

During the First World War, The Bristol Lunatic Asylum (Glenside Hospital) was requisitioned by The War Office and became The Beaufort War Hospital. The stall displays artefacts and material about the hospital during the war and includes arts and crafts activities.

Flowers of War

Make peace flowers and leaves to create a wreath. Reflect upon your own responses to war and commemoration, and articulate them through drawing, writing or conversation.
