Beyond Remembrance: Pacifism in the aftermath of war 1919.

This event marks the centenary of the final convention of the No Conscription Fellowship; Conscientious Objectors who, with their supporters, had provided the principal opposition to war during the five years of its existence. Who were the war resisters and what became of them? Why was the NCF disbanded? What is their legacy and impact for peace and civil rights down to the present day? Shalom Sussex Symposium – Jewish people in Sussex in WWI

Strike a Light - Arts & Heritage is hosting a one day symposium for the Shalom Sussex – Jewish People in WWI project on 10th December 2-7pm. This event is free to attend.
